Delaware M.A.S.H. Pantry - Ribbon Cutting
Llama Love Therapy
The project on 16 acres in North Carolina was purchased and named after Elaine DuShane's father, Russell C. Knotts, a WWII Veteran and owner of Ohio Steel Industries. As the co-founder of M.A.S.H., Elaine honors her father's interest in M.A.S.H. Pantry and Resource Center through this dedication.
He loved the vision and the name of The Shire of Knotts Landing after him. Russell was an icon and was honored at many M.A.S.H. events. To our sadness, Russell passed away on July 12th, 2023, at 100 years old. However, he lived a robust life, always surrounded by a loving family and friends. We are grateful for the heartfelt memories we shared with him.
His vision through M.A.S.H. was to pay it forward by providing Llama Love Therapy to help those in need in many communities.
