           Roland Creaser – age 83, passed away at home in Largo, Florida, on 01/28/2022, surrounded by family. Roland was born 12/10/1938 in Englewood, NJ. He then moved to Antwerp, Belgium, with his parents. After Belgium, Roland moved to Darien, Connecticut, where he met the love of his life, Sally Tief. He graduated from Darien High School in 1958. He enlisted in the US Navy, where he spent time in New York, Maryland, Delaware, and South Carolina. He was stationed on the USS Valley Forge and later transferred to the USS Grayback SSG-574 for submarine duty where he took part in several operations in Alaska, Japan, off the Russian coast, and in the China Sea. In 1961, he was honorable discharged and moved back to Darien, Connecticut. He married Sally Tief in 1962. He later received his Associate’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts, majoring in Urban Forestry. He then began Creaser’s Tree Service business, which employed 25 employees. Roland and Sally moved to Rowayton, Connecticut. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           They had their first son, James Creaser, on 12/22/1964. Their family continued to grow with the birth of their second son, Joseph Creaser, on 11/20/1966. In 1970, Roland became a Regional Factory Representative for Espoma Fertilizer Company. He established and ran dairy farms in Vermont and New York. During this time, their family continued to grow with the birth of their third son, John Creaser, on 10/29/1973, then their fourth and final son, Jerry Creaser, on 02/07/1975. He moved to Edmonton, Kentucky, where he grew and ran the largest swine farm in Metcalfe County. Roland then made the life decision to sell the farm, and moved to Ocala, Florida, in 1977. Once there, he engaged in all phases of Real Estate with appraisal companies and investment properties. As the family grew, he moved to Gahanna, Ohio, in 1988, continuing with his Real Estate Services. The family grew with the birth of their first grandchild, Morgan Creaser. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Roland then moved to Largo, Florida, in 1996. He continued with his business, Creaser’s Appraisal Service. Roland remained in Largo, Florida, as his family grew with additional grandchildren, Jesse Creaser, Charles Creaser, Caitlin Creaser, and Jack Creaser. Roland was an active member of the American Legion, amongst other organizations. Roland remained steadfast with the love of his life, Sally Creaser, as they both battled through the world pandemic, COVID-19. Roland is survived by his sister Margaret Blackburn and his brother, Jack Creaser. He is also survived by his wife, Sally Creaser, four sons, Jim, Joe, John, and Jerry Creaser, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren with a third to be born in 05/2022.
          &#xD;

      <description>John Robert Hardin, age 59 of Delaware died unexpectedly at home, early Monday morning, January 10, 2022. He was born on April 20, 1962 in Twentynine Palms, California. As a member of Boy Scout Troop 348, he proudly earned the rank of Eagle Scout. John was a US Navy veteran who worked on refurbishing the USS New Jersey. Throughout his working career, he had worked as a park ranger, police office for the city of Glouster, and as a bus driver for the Delaware City School system and was the owner of Hardin Landscaping. He truly endeared the students who rode his bus.</description>

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           John was a graduate of Hocking College and DeVry University. He attended The Ohio State University and was an usher at Ohio Stadium for 15 years.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting. John was a fan of the OSU Buckeyes, Disney movies, comic books, toys, and the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer movie. Gifted with his hands, he used them to accomplish any task, he was fun loving, creative, and always helpful.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 31 years Robyn G. (Smith) Hardin, sons: Patrick, Nicholas, and Daniel, his mother and step-father Gail (Griffith) and Dick Skatzes, brother Rick Hardin, and adoptive father John Richard Hardin Jr. He was preceded in death by his uncle Guy Miles Hardin.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 5th at the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 45 W. Winter St., Delaware. Military honors provided by the Delaware County Vietnam Veterans Association. A reception will follow, casual attire is preferred. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center in Delaware. Contributions in John’s memory may be made to any charity benefitting U.S. Veterans.

           Ralph Franklin Bornhorst age 99, of Sidney, Ohio, died on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Ohio Living Dorothy Love nursing facility, Sidney.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

           Ralph and Rita’s children include James &amp;amp; Laura Bornhorst of Miamisburg, Michael &amp;amp; Elisabeth Bornhorst (1st wife Maria deceased in 2004) of Schruns, Austria, Jerry &amp;amp; Michelle Bornhorst of Troy, Steven &amp;amp; Pamela Bornhorst of Troy, Kathleen &amp;amp; Clarence “Woody” (deceased 2014) Sturm of Sidney, Joe &amp;amp; Bev Bornhorst of Dayton, Annette &amp;amp; Jim (deceased 2006) Boone of Sidney, and Patricia &amp;amp; Randy Meinking of Centerville.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Ralph is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren (two grandchildren deceased), and siblings Verona Poeppelman, Dorothy Combs, Paul Bornhorst, and Raymond Bornhorst. He was preceded in death by his siblings Norma Bensman, Lester Bornhorst, Urban Bornhorst, Homer Bornhorst, Martha Borchers, Adella Brown and Eileen Borchers.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Ralph proudly served his country in the Navy on the battleship USS Idaho during WWII and witnessed the raising of the American Flag on Iwo Jima. Ralph was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, and was a member of the Choir and Historian. He worked as a manager at Swanders Farmers Grain Elevator for 33 years. He also was a farmer and loved calling square dances which he is still remembered for today.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Ralph was a community servant and it showed! While he is best known as “Uncle Sam” in the Shelby County parades, he also was a “big brother” in the Big Brother/Big Sisters of Sidney, Kiwanis member (President 1999), School Board member for Anna School, Shelby County Education Service Center and Upper Valley Joint Vocation School. In 1999, he received the Zenith Community Service Award by Sidney Chamber of Commerce. Ralph was a Shelby County Park District Friend and donated land that is now Bornhorst Woods.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, McCartyville, with Rev. Steve Mondiek celebrant. Burial with full military honors will be at Sacred Heart of Jesus cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 4 PM to 7 PM on Monday, May 24th, and at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Tuesday 9 AM to 10 AM before mass.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           Robert Wallace

           It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Wallace, of Nokesville VA, who died after a short illness on June 9, 2024.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Robert is survived by his son, Robert Wallace, (Don Emeigh), his daughter, Peggy "Sissy" Woolfrey, (Jesse Woolfrey). Granddaughters, Patricia Woolfrey and Jessica Woolfrey. A Sister, Peggy Foshee (Johnnie) of Tyler TX and brother, Bob Wallace (Sarah) of Troy NC. Great-Grandchildren, Emily, Steven, Hailey, Colton and Connor. Nephews and Niece, Johnnie, Bobby and Sherry-Beth and many great nephews and nieces.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Robert is predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, his parents Lovie (Loper) and Bob Wallace, his brother-in-law, Johnnie Foshee and nephew Billy Foshee.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Robert was born in Jacksonville, TX in 1946. He spent many summers with his aunt, uncle and cousins in TX. He joined the Navy in 1964. He married Dorothy in 1966. The family was stationed in many areas throughout his career, before his retirement in 1990 as a Senior Chief Mess Management Specialist. Robert, never able to just retire, started his own successful home improvement business with his daughter, Sissy. His best friend, Bucky Bryant, helping him along the way.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing. and of course, entertaining his friends and buddies throughout the decades. Robert and his wife, Dorothy hosted many BBQ's at their home in Nokesville. Later in life, Robert enjoyed his morning coffees with The Team. Robert and Dorothy had many dogs during their marriage. Robert's last pet, Quinn, was his pride and joy. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           The family will receive visitors Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 5-8PM at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd, Woodbridge, VA 22192. The family will also receive visitors Friday, June 21, 2024 at Miller Funeral from 1030-11AM with a service from 11AM-1230PM. Interment with military honors will follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           In lieu of flowers, please send or support Prince William County Animal Shelter in Robert Wallace's name.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
