  ** EVENT SPONSORSHIP:  (MAY 2017) M.A.S.H. PANTRY  - EVENT SPONSORSHIP TIERS:  "SHINE-A-LIGHT: WALK IN THE SHOES OF A VETERAN"    April 11, 2017 Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen. It is with hope in our hearts that we submit this letter of appeal for your consideration. We appeal to your sense of generosity as pertains to our upcoming fundraiser known as “Shine-A-Light: Walk in the Shoes of a Veteran” to support The M.A.S.H. (Military and Service Heroes) Pantry. The M.A.S.H. Pantry (501c3 Organization and independent of Federal Government funding) serves the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The Pantry supports Veterans and Military families by providing food, clothes, personal hygiene items, emotional support and resources. Our Mission: We promote deep self- confidence and self-sufficiency throughout our Central Ohio Veteran and Armed Forced community by offering nutritious foods, education, mentoring, advocacy and programming resources and services. Our Motto: “No Veteran, Military Family, or Survivor will go hungry.... at least not on OUR WATCH!!!” Our “Shine-A-Light: Walk in the Shoes of a Veteran” fundraiser includes a 1K Walk/Jog/Run and Push-Up Challenge for Hunger and will be celebrating our Veterans, their service and healing our Country. The Event will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 (10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) at the Grove City High School, 4665 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123. (Registration begins: 9:30 am) Our attendees and participants will include the five (5) branches of the Military (Army/Navy/Marines/Air Force/Coast Guard). The Central Ohio JR ROTC Community, Rickenbacker Personnel, Wright Patterson Air Force Base personnel, Ohio Veterans, disabled Ohio Veterans, and we encourage all schools and campuses to attend this AMAZING EVENT! Formal Invitations have been extended to Political officials and Hollywood celebrities. There will be a National Press release via HARO (HelpAReporterOut.org). A documentary film crew will be covering the Event. Events held at the fundraiser: Two (2) different 1K Walk/Jog/Run races; a Push-Up Challenge for Hunger; Rickenbacker troops to provide Military equipment on display (Humvee or Helicopter or Trucks); Tug a War (Adults/Kids); Kid Races/Games; Kid Arts/Crafts; Chair Massage Therapists; LIVE Music; Food; and more. Select events will be a challenge between the Military Branches.   All proceeds generated by our fundraiser will benefit M.A.S.H. Pantry, Grove City High School JR ROTC, and the Harrisburg VFW Post. *Personal hygiene drive at event - items TBA. It is our heartfelt wish that you would consider a position by which to support our fundraising efforts at the Event. Attached is the M.A.S.H. Pantry sponsorship form which explains the Gifting Levels in greater detail. Sponsorship levels vary in dollar amounts, with corresponding acknowledgements and attractive promotional opportunities for each Level.
