1.)  M.A.S.H. Veteran/Armed Forces Peer Support & *First Responders Support Meetings - Men only/Women only

Welcoming the Veteran/Military Personnel Community & the *First Responders Community suffering from PTSD (directly or indirectly).

Sharing your story or simply finding comfort with others may help with your own recovery.

Topics of discussion:

  • PTSD Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

  • depression

  • suicidal thoughts

  • trauma

  • stress

  • death of a loved one

  • dealing with the holidays

  • open discussion

*M.A.S.H. is now offering meetings to the First Responders Community - police, firefighters, ambulance crew, physicians & nurses, paramedics, and disaster workers.

2.) Alternative Therapy for PTSD AND STRESS Recovery

The Alternative therapy program will offer a variety of workshops to recover from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), depression, anxiety, etc.

Workshops: (Click on links below for more details)

  • Meditation (finding inner peace through thought)

  • Yoga (specific bodily posture for health and relaxation)

  • Therapeutic Laughter Yoga (humor helps relieve stress and pain)

  • Brain Gym (right brain/left brain- crossing over the bodies midline - right to left/left to right - the hemispheres of the brain are activated which improves communication and relaxation throughout the body)

  • EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping meridian points - releasing energy blockages that cause ‘negative emotions’), etc.
